Environment

The impact we have on the environment is foremost in our minds from the start. We only select the manufacturers of products that have clear environmental statements. Our main concerns are Where do the raw materials come from, how are they processed, how are they delivered and what is the lasting effect. In all cases we try to opt for the most eco friendly solution. Examples of this are to by boards from mills that buy from sustainable wood sources. Our delivery vehicles inevitably have an effect on the environment, so maintaining them to high standards helps reduce their emissions. Some of our new education furniture uses materials made from recycled plastics. And in the final stages if it is possible we do not package products going direct to sites, if packaging is necessary we try to use only cardboard. This is always removed from site and disposed of in an appropriate reclamation facility. As we said at the start we will be judged by future generations on the decisions we take now. At Pariter we will state our intention now, to continue to reduce the impact we have on our surroundings whilst still creating living, learning and working spaces that will inspire and add to the environment now and in the future.
